The club uses a ratio of one instructor to every seven students which allows for enhanced learning. Unlike other martial arts styles which generally have many more students per instructor.  

 

In the recent Victorian Judo State Titles held on December 5th 2004 the club had five entries and the club walked away with the following results:-

 

1st place under 16 girls   Open class

2nd place under 16 girls  62 kg class

3rd place under 16 boys  52kg class

3rd place under 10 boys  30kg class

2nd place senior men     100kg +

 

This is a great result from the team. The team enjoyed the day very much, this was obvious from the smiles on the faces of the students parents and coaches.  Its nice to win but it is great to have fun and that is what we did , we had fun!
